This natural origin is a salt water fountain called as Thor’s Well. It is situated in North America in Cape Perpetua, Oregon. Cape Perpetua is a forested area located at the center surrounded by water on three sides.
There are several other features found in this region. The Devil’s Churn is a long crack in the coastal rock which is filled with ocean wave, sometimes incoming and outgoing waves collide with each other. We can see the spectacular view when the tides are at peak. Besides Thor’s well, Devil’s Churn and Spouting Horn are also very popular. Visitors can enjoy this place. But all the three are dangerous during high tide and winter storms.
The Cape Perpetua also contains visitor center which is located two miles south of Yachats. The visitor centet gives the spectacular views of ocean and the coast. It is also a beautiful place to watch migrating gray whales.
