TABLE MOUNTAIN

Table Mountain is a flat-topped mountain in South Africa at Cape Town and Table Bay. Table Mountain is one of the oldest mountain on earth six times older than the Himalayas and five times older than the Rockies. The height of the mountain range is 1085m. It is having the unique recognizing shape as a landmark for the city Cape town.

Table Mountain is popular and famous for tourisim which offer hiking and camping. Tourist people enjoy to the core while travelling in the cable car. The people came to visit the mountain will camp on the top of the mountain.

There are about 2200 species of Plants found on Table Mountain and 1450 floral species. Fynobs flower is so much famous in the mountain. Plants and flowers are endemic to this mountain.

The most common animal found on the mountain is mammal which resembles guinea pig called as Rock Hyrax or Rock Dassie. The other animals found on the mountains are leapoard, Zebra, porcupines, rare amphibians called the Table Mountain in Ghost Frog. The plants and animals are the part of national park of the mountain.

On the top of the mountain gets a 360 view of the Cape Peninsula and we can touch the clouds as they come over the top of the mountain. Which is a beautiful view for the people. When the clouds stream over the plateau it is referred to as the “Table Cloth”.

The fire warden used to live on the mountain, in a house at the top of the Jeep above Constantia Nek. The mountain club also has huts on the mountain for camping.

The table mountain offers one of the best view in the World, because of hiking trails and trees and flowers in the city of Cape Town. It makes an ideal spot for photography.

You can visit the table mountain during winter season it feels coldness.

Cambodia is a SOUTHEAST ASIAN COUNTRY. Its capital is PHNOM PENH. Currency is CAMBODIAN RIEL. Spoken languages are KHMER and FRENCH. Its famous place is ANGKOR WAT. This place is really a treat for all the visitors.

Buckingham palace was originally known as Buckingham house.Buckingham Palace has served as the official London residence of the UK’s sovereigns since 1837 and today is the administrative headquarters of the monarch.

Buckingham Palace has 775 rooms.It imcludes 19 State rooms,5 2 royal and guest bedrooms ,188 staff bedrooms,92 offices and 78 bathrooms.Here is the video of ”Whats inside Buckingham palace??”.

In measurements,the building is 108 metres long across the front ,120 metres deep (including the central quadrangle) and 24 metres high.

Port Lockroy is a natural harbour on the Antarctic peninsula.a British team renovated the historical site and opened it as a monument and museum in 1996.

A historic site which has a gift shop and the only public post office on the Antarctic peninsula.Port Lockroy museum and post office is operated by the United kingdom Antarctic heritage trust.

Port Lockroy sends dozens of postcards per week.

THE RIVER OF FIVE COLOURS

Cano Cristales(English: Crystal Channel) is a Colombian river located in Serrania de la Macarena province of Meta, and a tributary of the Guayabero River.The river is commonly called the “River Of Five Colours” or the “Liquid Rainbow”, and is noted for its striking colours. The bed of the river from the end of July through November is variously coloured yellow,green,blue,black and especially red, the last caused by Macarenia clavigera plants(family:Podostemaceae) on the riverbed.

Geology:

The quartzite rocks of the Serrania de la Macarenia tableland formed approximately 1.2 billion years ago. They are a western extension of the Guiana Sheild Of Venezuela.

Cano Cristales is a fast-flowing river with many rapids and waterfalls.Small circular pits known as GIANT’S KETTLES can be found in many parts of the riverbed, which have been formed by pebbles or chunks of harder rocks.Once one of the harder rock fragments falls into one of the cavities, it is rotated by the water current and begins to carve at yhe cavity walk, increasing the dimensions of the pit.

Fauna And Flaura:

The Macarena is located on the border of three large ecosystems, each of them with high diversity of flora and fauna: THE ANDES,THE EASTERN LLANOS,and the AMAZON RAINFOREST. Plant and Animal life are stuggling with the lack of nutrients on the solid rock surface of the tablesand and have developed diverse adaptions.The representative biome of the Serrania de la Macarena is the hydrophytic rainforest:hot,warm,and cold.The tableland is home to about 420 species of Birds,10 species of Amphibians,43 species of Reptiles, and 69 Primates.-Deepika S

The Tuileries Garden on a beautiful summer day in Paris

The Tuileries garden is a public garden located between the Louvre and the place de la concorde in the first arrondissement of Paris,France.Created by catherine de’ Medici as the garden of the Tuileries palace in 1564,it was eventually opened to the public in1667 and became a public park after the French Revolution.In the 19th and 20th centuries,it was a place where Parisians celebrated ,met ,strolled and relaxed.

In the past ,before the Tuleries garden,there was tile factories,which lend their name to the garden.

The many chairs today liven up the park ,freely available to walkers who like to sit there near one of the ponds during pleasand weather.Very close to the Arc de triomphe di carrousel ,we can entertain the children by renting miniature sailing boats which they can control by remote on the water of the second pond.

The Great Barrier Reef:

Australia consists of many beautiful tourist sites, and one of the most visited tourist site is the Great Barrier Reef. The Great Barrier Reef is blessed with the breath-taking view of the world’s largest coral reef. This Reef contains an abundance of marine life and it comprises of about 3000 individuals reef systems and hundreds of tropical islands with beautiful sun-soaked, golden beaches. This Reef is considered to be the only living thing on our earth which is visible from the outer space.

The true beauty of the Great Barrier Reef can be witnessed by pulling away from it and viewing it from a great distance. It is literally larger than the Great wall of China which considered to be seven wonders of the world. Because of its breath-taking view, it has become world’s most sought tourist site. In the Barrier Reef, one can do many activities like scuba diving, helicopter tours, educational trips, cruise ship tours, whale watching and also swimming with dolphins.

This Reef contains a total of 10% of worlds fish species and also has 600 types of hard and soft coral. It is 20,000,000 years old. Barrier reefs protects coastlines from the damaging effects of wave action and tropical storms. And also it provides shelter for many marine organisms. It is also useful in nitrogen fixing. There are two important things that poses a great to the Reef which is Pollution and Climate change. So we have to take measures to protect the nature’s beauty.

PYRAMID’S OF GIZA

The great Pyramid of Giza is one of the Seven Wonders of the World. It is one of the most ionic structure which is close to the city Cario. It is also known as Pyramid of Khufu or

Pyramid of Cheops. It is the ancient and largest of the three Pyramids in the Giza Pyramid Complex. It is situated in EGYPT. It was built by Pharaoh Khufu of 4th Dynasty around 2560 BC.

Its height is 481 feet. It seem to be tallest structure in the World about 3800 years. But today its height was decreased due to rain and winds. The interior temperature of the Pyramid is 20 degree Celsius.

The Pyramid was built with an estimate of 2.3 million stone block which weighs about 2.5-15 tons each. The four faces of the pyramid are slightly concave, the only pyramid built in this way.

The interior of Pyramid contains three burial chambers. One chamber was built into bedrock underground. The queen’s chamber was built higher than that and king’s chamber was the highest.

The Giza Pyramid was guarded by the GREAT SPHINX, the largest monolith statue in the World.
